At Kids’ Corner, the growth and impact witnessed in our community leaves us continually awestruck. Reflecting on our journey, the numbers paint a compelling story for our small island childcare center: 

• Our classrooms are full of laughter and learning with 23 students enrolled, with many more families wanting to register their children with us.

• At Kids Corner, our dedicated teachers boast over 90 years combined service and experience here at Kids’ Corner,

• We have cared for over 180 infants, 250 toddlers, 400 Tweeners (Preschool), and 250 Pre-Kindergarten children.

• Wecoming the second generation of “Kids’ Corner kids,” we now enroll the children of KC alumni!

• A remarkable testament to our legacy is having a teacher on staff who was part of one of the first classes in KC history.

• Kids’ Corner provides more than $30,000 in scholarship support to our staff, enabling us to retain our dedicated teachers.

As you can see, all of this takes a strong, dedicated team to keep moving forward. We are only able to achieve these accomplishments and provide this fundamental service to our community through the support of our KC family. Our community extends far and wide, embracing our team of teachers, devoted KC parents, selfless volunteer Board members, and our invaluable support from our local small businesses and encouraging social community at large. 

Our success is thanks to hearts like yours. We would not be able to achieve these amazing milestones at Kids’ Corner if it were not for a strong, collective force behind our mission.   Your contribution plays a vital role in prioritizing the children of Mount Desert Island while their parents work to sustain this amazing island community.
